Brief Job Description:
Lighting systems in existing
buildings often use too much energy. Even worse, many of those
lighting systems were laid out and installed by people who, unfortunately,
didn’t have a clue
about good lighting design. But we can fix that, and you can
help.
We are Tri-State Light & Energy, Inc. and for the last three
decades we've been providing design and installation of energy
efficient lighting systems to commercial, industrial and institutional
facilities. We specialize in occupancy sensors and automatic
lighting control systems and we offer services including energy
audits, financial analysis, fixture retrofits and lighting control
installations. Our customer base ranges from small businesses
trying to save money, to hospitals, universities and Fortune
500 companies wanting cutting edge lighting technologies.
When a client hires us, we perform a detailed survey of their
existing facilities and lighting systems. We identify and count
every luminaire, measure existing light levels and observe the
space for glare, shadows, contrast ratios and other issues affecting
the quality of the lighting environment.
Then we recommend retrofits, upgrades and control strategies
to lower energy consumption and improve visual comfort and performance.
They save energy, save money and get better lighting. It’s
a good deal all around.
